Weisse Flotte – Investors Strandbad
The "Strandbad" ship landing stage is located – as the name suggests – next to the former Strandbad at the Baldeneysee, which today is known as Seaside Beach Baldeney is known. pier „"Strandbad" is located between Seaside Beach, Baldeney, and the Baldeney ferry, the legendary former excursion restaurant known for its red-and-white polka-dotted parasols and waiters in tailcoats and bow ties. At its peak, it offered over 1,000 outdoor seats and has unfortunately been closed for decades and is increasingly dilapidated. Also located at the "Strandbad" landing stage is the so-called "Seeblick D," a pavilion built between 2017 and 2019 as part of the City of Essen's concept for the redevelopment of Baldeneysee. In addition to the pavilion, a number of measures were implemented by the "“Tango on Baldeneysee“ up to the investor „Strandbad“.
