Traffic regulations for visitors and residents on October 11th and 12th, 2025
Temporary road closures on Sunday – caution advised on Saturday, is the summary of the traffic information. Westenergie Marathon 2025 and to BKK Walking Day 2025 at Baldeneysee. Traditionally in October, this year on the second weekend of October 2025, the area around the Baldeneysee into a stage for two major sporting events. The BKK Walking Day and the Westenergie Marathon bring activity to the region – and sometimes to the roads as well. For the 2025 Westenergie Marathon, several roads along route Baldeneysee will again be temporarily closed. While no temporary closures are expected for the 2025 BKK Walking Day, the organizers nevertheless urge everyone to be considerate. Details of the traffic regulations and information are as follows:
