Jetty Strandbad

The landing stage "Strandbad" is located - as the name suggests - next to the former Strandbad at the Baldeneyseewhich is now known as Seaside Beach Baldeney. The jetty "Strandbad" is located between the Seaside Beach Baldeney and the Baldeney ferry, the legendary former excursion restaurant, which was known for its red and white dotted parasols and waiters with tails and bow ties, offered over 1,000 outdoor seats in its heyday and has unfortunately been closed for decades and is increasingly falling into disrepair. At the jetty "Strandbad" is also the so-called "Seeblick D", a pavilion that was built as part of the City of Essen's concept for the redesign of Lake Baldeney from 2017 to 2019 and, in addition to the pavilion, includes a range of measures from the "Tango am Baldeneysee" to the "Strandbad" jetty.
