Kettwig jetty

"Kettwiger Stausee" is the jetty of the Weisse Flotte Baldeney, also known as the "Kettwigjetty ". The jetty is located not far from the Kettwig lock. The banks of the Ruhr are lined by the former production halls of the Scheidt cloth factory, which have since been converted into living space or are still partially preserved in fragments and date back to 1837. For a long time, they formed the economic center of today's Essen district of Kettwig on the banks of the Ruhr.
