BaldeneyseeBeach feeling at 35 degrees Celsius, DJs on two stages on the grounds of Seaside Beach Baldeney against the unique backdrop of the lake. Baldeneysee - the lake was on fire at the 16th SMAG Sundance on July 8, 2023. Cool beats with plenty of bass, fire fountains and more than 10,000 festival-goers celebrated a top-class electro party. - The 16th SMAG Sundance on Saturday was a festival of superlatives.
All colors and a colorful festival community
Electronic beats and a relaxed atmosphere - a colourful festival crowd danced and sang along to the red and white confetti rain set by "Alle Farben", 1Live-Krone and Echo winners and top act at SMAG Sundance 2023. The event, which was sold out to the last ticket, not only featured well-known music stars. DJ and producer Toby Romeo, who is still less well-known in this country, really set the party people alight on the main stage in the afternoon. Even the law enforcement officers who patrolled the festival grounds during Events seemed to enjoy their work a little. "Despite what felt like tropical heat, everyone's mood remained relaxed and everything went peacefully," was the summary from organizer Lugana Entertainment.
Artists and community
On the second, more techno-heavy stage, five DJanes showed off their skills on the turntables and brought the atmosphere to a boil. The immediate proximity between the artists and the community created an instant spark. Alongside the unique backdrop, this is certainly one of the special features of SMAG Sundance , which is now one of the biggest events in the summer and beyond the borders of the Ruhr region. "The event absolutely exceeded our expectations," says Annette Heinrich, Managing Director of Lugana Entertainment. Satisfied guests, satisfied hosts.
