From rain to euphoria at Baldeneysee
Essen, Baldeneysee, 29.08.2025. August 29, 2025 began for many fans of the Fantastic Four with wet feet and soaked jackets. As soon as they arrived, heavy rain set in over the Baldeneysee and accompanied the fans to Seaside Beach Baldeney. However, the rain stopped just before the concert started at around 8 p.m. - as if the sky itself had made way for a musical highlight in a class of its own.
Sustainable journey despite capricious weather
Despite the briefly uncomfortable weather, many visitors followed the recommendations of media such as Baldeneysee.Ruhr and arrived by bike. The organizers had pointed out the limited parking options in advance and offered alternative travel options such as public transport and shuttle buses from Messe Essen. The cyclists in particular were celebrated on social media for their weatherproof determination - pictures of soaked but cheerful fans with rain ponchos and helmets were posted under the hashtag #Fanta4Baldeney.
