Getting fit with colleagues after work – training for company runs is apparently an attractive alternative to the gym, as company runs have enjoyed growing popularity for years. Being active together after work, fostering team spirit – these are the real goals of a company run. While jogging often presents too great a challenge for many, walking is manageable for almost everyone. With the "Team Walk by BIG direkt gesund," the creators of bunert Events have designed a sporting event that aims to exclude no one.

For the first time in 2022 on Baldeneysee Following the successful first event, the hiking event will enter its second round on August 23, 2023. After work, companies, families, or groups of friends can hike an approximately eight-kilometer circular route on trail Baldeneysee as a team. „With the Team Walk, we guarantee action and variety, offering you an exciting hiking tour that your entire team can participate in,“ promises Christian Hengmith, Managing Director of bunert Events, adding: „Afterwards, we'll celebrate with a relaxed after-walk party, enjoying drinks and food.“ This alternative to the traditional company run puts the competitive aspect aside, focusing instead on the shared experience.

„Walking and hiking have become very popular in recent years, and we wanted to capitalize on that,“ says Hengmith. „We want to offer an event for people who enjoy being active but break out in a sweat at the mere mention of a corporate run. The Team Walk by BIG direkt gesund is therefore THE hiking event for companies and teams.“ In addition to last year’s pilot event, the Baldeneysee, the first starting gun for the Team Walk was fired in Duisburg in May, and teams in Dortmund will also be lacing up their hiking boots on September 6, 2023.
