Tango on Baldeneysee

An institution in Essen is Tango on Baldeneysee. The snack bar and kiosk is located on the north bank of the Baldeneysees, in the immediate vicinity of the Seaside Beach Baldeney, dem Baldeney Castle with the chapel Baldeney and the pier Seaside Beach, which the White Fleet Baldeney will serve from 2018 onwards. From kiosk Tango at Baldeneysee One has a direct view of the urban development project 'Seeblick D', a sub-project of the action year 'Essen 2017, European Green Capital', and thus of course also of the Baldeneysee.

Homemade and warm hospitality

Everyone is welcome at Tango am Baldeneysee. Retirees come alone or with their grandchildren, workers on their lunch break, office workers after work, and athletes to replenish their electrolytes and energy. In true kiosk style, Tango am Baldeneysee is practically always open: from 8:00 a.m., seven days a week. Besides its convenient opening hours, the snack bar impresses with freshly brewed coffee and homemade cakes. The owners place great emphasis on freshly prepared dishes from the snack menu. In addition to standard fare such as fries with currywurst or bratwurst with potato salad, seasonal dishes like kale, goulash, or stuffed peppers are served for consumption at the standing tables.

Many guests are greeted by their first names by the owners. The warmth with which every guest is served is definitely well-received. The Tango at Baldeneysee – an institution in Essen.
