Tango on Baldeneysee

An institution in Essen is Tango am Baldeneysee. The snack bar and kiosk is located on the northern shore of Lake Baldeney in the immediate vicinity of Seaside Beach Baldeney, Baldeney Castle with Baldeney Chapel and the Seaside Beach jetty, which the White Fleet Baldeney will be calling at from 2018. From the kiosk Tango am Baldeneysee you have a direct view of the 'Seeblick D' urban development project, a sub-project of the 'Essen 2017, European Green Capital' campaign year, and of course the Baldeneysee.

Homemade and cordiality

At Tango on Baldeneysee everyone is welcome. Pensioners come alone or with their grandchildren, workers come for their lunch break, employees come after work and athletes come to replenish their electrolyte and energy stores. In the best kiosk style, the Tango is always open on Baldeneysee is actually always open: from eight o'clock in the morning, seven days a week. In addition to the guest-friendly opening hours, the snack bar impresses with freshly brewed coffee and home-baked cakes. The operators attach great importance to freshly prepared food from the snack menu. In addition to standard dishes such as chips with currywurst or bockwurst with potato salad, seasonal dishes such as kale, goulash or stuffed peppers are served at the bar tables.

Many of those who come are greeted by the owners on a first-name basis. The warmth with which every guest is served is definitely well received. The Tango am Baldeneysee - is an institution in Essen.
