Passionfruit Caipirinha – That's the taste of summer at Baldeneysee
While beer and wine consumption is declining in Germany, cocktails like Caipirinha, Mojito, and others are experiencing a renaissance – not prepared in the traditional way, but with a modern twist. Ingredients
1 passion fruit
1 organic lime
1 tsp raw cane sugar
4 cl white rum
1 Crushed Ice
1 Soda water
1 mint sprig for decoration

preparation
1. Halve the passion fruit and place the pulp of one half into a Caipirinha glass. Set the other half aside for decoration.
2. Halve, quarter, and eighth the lime and add it to the glass. Sprinkle with raw cane sugar and muddle with a pestle.
3. Pour in white rum, fill the glass with crushed ice and mix the ingredients with a long spoon.
4. Fill a glass with soda water. Decorate the ice with a passion fruit half and mint, and serve with a straw.
