Ingredients
125 g butter
100 g sugar
1 tsp vanilla powder
3 eggs
250 g flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
250 ml mineral water
125 ml milk
1 pinch of salt
Besides that Vegetable oil for greasing
Icing sugar

preparation
1. Cream together butter, sugar, and vanilla powder until light and fluffy. Separate the eggs. Stir the egg yolks into the batter. Sift together flour and baking soda, then stir into the batter along with the sparkling water and milk. Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff peaks form, then gently fold them into the waffle batter.
2. Preheat a waffle iron, preferably a heavy, rectangular one, and grease it lightly with vegetable oil. Pour in portions of waffle batter and bake until golden brown. Let cool slightly, sprinkle with powdered sugar, and serve immediately.
Variations
