Essen district Werden near Baldeneysee is available at the ice cream parlor Kika's. On weekends with good weather, ice cream fans sometimes queue up all the way to the Ludgerus Fountain. People are happy to accept a bit of a wait and join the line.

Besides classics like spaghetti ice cream, adventurous ice cream lovers will enjoy creations flavored with cinnamon and licorice. Less unusual and an absolute favorite is the buttermilk with forest fruits flavor. Around 24 ice cream flavors are available. Served in an edible cup and topped with a generous ladle of hardening chocolate sauce, it's the perfect way to make summer last forever.

The ambiance at Kika's is decorated in candy pink and pastel mint, exuding a charmingly poppy, 1950s-style ice cream parlor atmosphere. The shop window facing Brückstraße is decorated with a rotating display of... Seasons It's decorated and looks very inviting. Besides the indoor seating, there are now also outdoor seats. When the sun is shining, most people opt for an ice cream to go and take a seat around the Ludgerus Fountain or stroll through the picturesque alleyways.
