Plückthun Ice Cream Parlor
Ice cream lovers come to the ice cream parlor Plückthun In the Kupferdreh district of Essen, not far from the Baldeneysees, ice cream lovers will find themselves in paradise. Their incredibly creamy ice cream has fans far beyond the city limits. They also cater to those with allergies, offering lactose-free, gluten-free, and sugar-free options. On sunny days, the place is so busy that customers not only take up seats inside but also fill the benches in the adjacent garage courtyard. This family business boasts a 40-year history. After learning his trade at Bertram in Kray, Friedhelm Plückthun set up his own business in Kupferdreh. Every day, a selection of around 30 flavors from a total of 115 creations is available in the glass-fronted freezer display case to the left of the entrance.
