German Masters Open in July 2026 at the ETUF Tennis Facility
Essen, Germany, July 1, 2026. The German Masters Open TVN will once again take place in 2026 on its traditional summer date. After the renowned seniors' tournament was canceled last year due to FISU World University Games 2025 already held in April, the event is Baldeneysee ranking points and titles.
High-class tournament with international participation
As a DTB S1 tournament and ITF MT700, the event counts among the most important Masters events in Germany - and is held at one of the most beautiful tennis facilities. The organizers are once again expecting a strong field of participants that will shape the tournament week with top-class tennis and numerous sporting highlights. Spectators can look forward to an international starting field and exciting matches.
Modernized facility thanks to FISU
The ETUF facility offers the best conditions for this. The grounds were extensively renovated for the FISU Games, which were held here in tennis last year and attracted large crowds. The Center Court, tennis house, lake terrace, changing rooms, new toilet facilities, and additional parking now provide a professional environment and an attractive atmosphere directly on the water, including two catering establishments.
Tournament with a special character
Even off the court, the German Masters Open is intended to retain its special charm: sportingly ambitious, internationally influenced, and relaxed at the same time. The combination of top-class tennis and its location in one of the most beautiful venues in the region has made the tournament a regular fixture in German senior tennis for years.
Anticipation for tournament week
The Niederrhein Tennis Association (TVN) has communicated its great anticipation for the tournament, and the ETUF Essen is certainly looking forward to the tournament in the World Masters Tour series. Spectators at the Baldeneysee can expect exciting matches, many familiar faces, and another high-class tournament week.
