Lieblingsbude

Lieblingsbude is a kiosk at Baldeneysee at Haus Scheppen and part of the motorcycle meeting at Haus Scheppen, also Biker Meeting Haus Scheppen named. The Lieblingsbude is located practically right next to the road, the Hardenbergufer, between the Essen districts of Kupferdreh and Werden and thus belongs to the District Fischlaken.

Besides sweets (Ruhr area slang for candy) and cold drinks, cakes and snack classics like currywurst and fries are available at the Lieblingsbude counter. True to the stall-like atmosphere, it's self-service. You eat in style at wooden tables and benches, which you share with other guests of the Lieblingsbude. As is typical for the Ruhr area, it's easy to strike up a conversation. From the Lieblingsbude's beer garden, there's an excellent view of the lively activity at the biker meeting point. Some are arriving, others are just leaving, cyclists and Inline skaters pass by.

To the right of Lieblingsbude hangs a large notice board for all kinds of announcements: motorcycles for sale and wanted, of course, vacation rentals, lost pets. The historic Haus Scheppen is located opposite Lieblingsbude, and thus also the Haus Scheppen harbor. Campers can stock up on refreshments at Lieblingsbude, as the path to... Camping Park Baldeneysee leads directly past here.

A public parking lot is located on the street. Pörtingsiepen There is a parking area just before Lieblingsbude and a second parking area above Lieblingsbude. It is recommended to use these and walk the last few meters, as the few parking spaces directly in front of Haus Scheppen are usually already occupied and turning around can be risky due to the large number of motorcycles, bicycles and inline skaters.
