On October 4th and 5th, 2025 – immediately following German Unity Day – the Yacht Club Ruhrland Essen eV will host the Ruhrland Cup for young sailors in the Optimist B and Optimist C classes in Essen-Heisingen. This children's regatta is dedicated to promoting young talent and offers these young sailors a fantastic opportunity to gain regatta experience and compete. Whether experiencing their first taste of racing or already honing their skills, the Baldeneysee will be a captivating spectacle of small sails, great ambition, and boundless enthusiasm for sailing.
