On Saturday, August 30, 2025, the Rowing Bundesliga will stop at TVK Essen eV in Essen-Kupferdreh on the picturesque Baldeneysee course. At the fourth race day of the 2025 season, Germany's best sprint rowing teams will meet for thrilling duels on the water near the Kampmann Bridge. Junior teams will also compete at this regatta to determine the fastest boats. The Rowing Bundesliga (RBL) is the national sprint league for eight-oared rowing. On a course of just 350 meters, men's and women's eights from all over Germany compete in intense head-to-head races – fast, powerful, and tactically demanding. The league consists of several race days at different locations, where points are awarded for the overall standings.
