Rowing against cancer – Strong together on the Baldeneysee

On September 6, 2025, the "Rowing Against Cancer" charity regatta will once again take place on the Baldeneysee – a moving event to benefit people with cancer. Numerous teams are participating in cooperation with local hospitals and rowing clubs for this worthy cause.

The event combines sporting ambition with social commitment and raises awareness of the challenges in the fight against cancer. Spectators are warmly invited to cheer on the participants and enjoy the special atmosphere on the lake shore. The event takes place on four lanes at the Essen Turn- und Fechtsklub eV (ETUF) – Stauwehr Werden.
