Kettwig Advent Village in Essen-Kettwig an der Ruhr

The Kettwig Advent Village invites you to an atmospheric start to the Advent season in the historic old town of Kettwig, Essen's southernmost district, from November 28th to 30th, 2025.

Around the market church, the Petershof and the Weberbrunnen fountain, visitors can expect festively decorated market stalls, creative and charity bazaars as well as a diverse music and cultural program.

There will be craft activities and performances for children, while festive lights will bathe the old town in Christmas splendor. Shops will be open on Sunday.
