An impressive example of late Baroque architecture: The garden house was built around 1790 as a retreat for Johann Everhard Dingerkus, chancellery director of the abbey (Werden,). Today it is lovingly maintained by the Friends of the Dingerkus Garden House Association and has served as a vibrant venue for cultural events and garden art since 2010.
