FISU World University Games – Tennis – Preliminary Round
From July 17th to 24th, 2025, the preliminary rounds of the women's and men's FISU World University Games 2025 will take place on the spacious tennis facility of the ETUF tennis section at Baldeneysee.
Tennis players – including WTA and ATP athletes ranked among the top 150 in the world – will determine their best on the clay courts at Baldeneysee, before the semi-finals and finals on the center court of the Essener Turn- und Fechtclub eV produce the bronze, silver and gold medal winners.
The preliminary rounds are free of charge, while the semifinals and finals require tickets and must be purchased in advance. The beautifully situated facilities of the Essen Gymnastics and Fencing Club have been completely renovated and adapted to meet the necessary requirements.
