Essen City Rowing Championships 2025 and the 34th Kettwig Autumn Cup

This autumn, the Ruhr River will be buzzing with rowing action. The Essen-Kettwig Rowing Club cordially invites everyone to its traditional Autumn Cup 2025. Leading up to the event, the organizers are reporting the best registration numbers in eight years. Nearly 1,000 water sports enthusiasts are expected to register in 36 eights, 69 fours, and 24 dragon boats, with teams even coming from the Netherlands.

As part of this event, the prestigious Essen City Rowing Championships 2025 will take place on October 19, 2025. Starting at 12:15 pm, the men will compete for the 64th time in the city eight and the women for the 30th time in the city four, determining the fastest Essen club boats. The reigning Essen champions from the Kettwig Rowing Club of 1906 e.V. will certainly do everything in their power to defend their titles.
