Important notice: This event has been cancelled and will not take place!
Originally, the Dragon Boat Festival was scheduled to take place from July 3 to 5, 2026, offering exciting competitions at the Essen regatta course. Over three days, thrilling races in various categories were planned, including the Unified Dragon Cup, the integrative dragon boat race, as well as races for fun and recreational sports teams.

The inclusive dragon boat race was intended to show how sport can bring people with different backgrounds together. A varied supporting program and imaginatively costumed teams were planned for the first weekend of July 2026 at the [Baldeneysee].
