90 years Baldeneysee

On August 19, 2023, Essen will celebrate the Baldeneysee with a lake and light festival. Throughout the day, various events, hands-on activities organized by local clubs and restaurants, open house events, and guided tours will attract visitors to and around the largest reservoir on the Ruhr River. A spectacular fireworks display, scheduled to begin at 9:45 p.m., will provide the grand finale.
