Bootshaus on Baldeneysee
"Café, lounge, bistro" is how the owners describe the gastronomic offerings of the "Bootshaus" on the second floor of the ETUF e.V. club and boathouse on the Baldeneysee. Since May 2019, the Bootshaus restaurant has been welcoming not only club members, but also all other guests. In addition to the dining room, it is the terraced outdoor dining area that makes the Bootshaus at ETUF so special.
After-work beer and evening with friends
After-work beer, friends' evening or late breakfast in the form of starters or desserts at the weekend - many things are possible in the ETUF boathouse. In addition to day guests, the operators of the Bootshaus im ETUF also offer Events a versatile location. "As a full-service provider, we offer you every conceivable service in the event sector - individually tailored to you and from a single source," says the website.
Drinks and dishes
In addition to the classic soft drinks, beers, (sparkling) wines and hot drinks, the drinks menu also promises high spirits in the form of a few long drinks. The menu offers classic starters such as bruschetta, prawns, bread with aioli and burrata with braised cherry tomatoes. Salads and punch are followed by the main courses, which include pasta in different variations as well as schnitzel, steak and the Ruhr Valley classic currywurst. Tarte flambée, desserts and cakes round off the culinary repertoire in the ETUF boathouse.

The ambience is characterized by the special flair of a boathouse. The dining room and terrace were completely renovated and modernized before opening in 2019. In particular, the outside area of the boathouse was opened up to the lake. And the window front in the dining room can also be opened completely to the lake in summer, making it a pleasant place to stay even at the height of summer.
