New organizer for Pfingst Open Air Essen-Werden 2025
The popular Pfingst Open Air (POA) music festival in Essen-Werden is celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2025 - but many wondered whether the event would even take place in 2025. Until 2024, the festival was organized by the youth welfare office and the Rockförderverein. Now festival fans can breathe a sigh of relief: Indie Radar Ruhr from Oberhausen, managed by Maximilian Janetzki, is taking over the organization and securing the traditional open-air festival for 2025.
The family-friendly music event attracts thousands of visitors every year and will remain free of charge in 2025. However, as in previous years, if you arrive too late, you could find yourself standing in front of closed gates, as no more guests will be admitted once the maximum capacity has been reached. There is also a lot of excitement about the line-up. Baldeneysee.Ruhr will announce the line-up for the Werdender Open-Air 2025 after the cut-off time on April 22, 2025 at 12 noon.

The Fantastic Four - third concert at Baldeneysee
The Fantastischen Vier will be performing this year on August 29, 2025 as part of their "Long Player On Tour Open Air 2025" at Seaside Beach Baldeney on Baldeneysee in Essen. Fanta 4 are coming to Baldeneysee for the third time. The four musicians from Swabia were already guests at the largest Ruhr reservoir in 2017 and 2019. Both times, the musicians played at the sold-out Seaside Beach Baldeney. Tickets are currently still available - "while stocks last", as they say. For all those who were unable to experience the two previous concerts live, here is a brief review:
The band's concert at Baldeneysee in 2019 was the crowning finale of their "Captain Fantastic Open Air Tour". It took place on a Friday at the end of August and was accompanied by perfect weather. Around 20,000 visitors celebrated and the location on Baldeneysee at Seaside Beach Baldeney provided the perfect backdrop for the event. The Fantastic Four's performance thrilled the fans and the atmosphere was absolutely unique.

CRO* at Baldeneysee? Fact! - The Swabian rapper will be playing a concert at Seaside Beach Baldeney on 30.08.2025. As part of the 'CRO - CRONICLES TOUR', CRO will be making a guest appearance at this special location. In summer 2016, the musician with the trademark panda mask performed with a 20-piece orchestra at the Baldeneysee.
In addition to extraordinary stages such as Loreley am Rhein and the Füssen Festspielhaus with a view of Neuschwanstein Castle, the Baldeneysee in Essen is one of the concert location highlights.
The response to the tickets will certainly be great when the pre-sale starts on 17.09.2024 according to the organizer. Tickets for the 'CRO - CRONICLES TOUR' on 30.08.2025 at Seaside Beach Baldeney in Essen are being offered on the Eventim.de ticket exchange. With free choice of seats and standing room, the prices should be around EUR 75. It's sure to be a great concert, especially as CRO is also known for his spectacular stage shows.
